Announcement No. 63 of 2023 of the General Administration of Customs on the Announcement of the Revised Standards of Origin under the Hong Kong CEPA

In order to promote economic and trade exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Arrangement for Establishing Closer Economic and Trade Relations between the Mainland and Hong Kong" Agreement on Trade in Goods, The origin standard of the "Harmonized System" code 0902.30 in Annex 1 of Announcement No. 39 of the General Administration of Customs in 2022 is now revised to "(1) from tea processing. The main production processes are fermentation, rolling, drying, and blending; or (2) the regional value components are calculated by 40% deduction method or 30% accumulation method". The revised standard will be implemented from July 1, 2023.
